India Vs Srilanka 2nd T20 Live Streaming, Watch live streaming and live scores of the 2nd Twenty20 between India and SriLanka which will be played in Mohali on Saturday, Dec 12th, 2009. Match start time 5-30 pm India time (12.00GMT).
It looks like India have lost track of the T20″s, they have lost 4 in a row.
The Indians put up a pathetic show to lose the first match by 29 runs in Nagpur and M S Dhoni and team have a tough task at hand to level the series 1-1.
The Indians fielding has been pathetic, they dropped four simple catches, missed out on a simple run-out chance and gave away easy runs in the field in the 1st T20.
The Srilankans will go into the match with a positive frame of mind after their convincing victory in Nagpur. They would look to win this one and win the series.
The Mohali track is known to offer some pace and bounce to the bowlers and it is not going to be any different this time around. “There is going to be something for the bowlers under the present conditions, but overall it will be a good wicket with pace and carry,” said chief curator Daljit Singh.

India took the remaining six wickets of Sri Lanka an hour before Tea to wrap up the second Test at Kanpur with an innings and 144 run-victory. The hosts took four wickets in the first session itself but were kept waiting for about 90 minutes with tailender Ajantha Mendis putting on a frustrating 73-run stand with Thilan Samaraweera (78*).
Zaheer Khan provided the perfect start for India this morning by bouncing out Angelo Mathews in the second over of the day’s play. He along with Sreesanth lost the plot though to be replaced with spin at both ends. India had to wait for about an hour before Harbhajan Singh found a way to spin one through the bat pad gap of Prasanna Jayawardene (29) from round the sticks. Harbhajan’s off break broke the 6th wicket stand of 61.
Harbhajan Singh got one more wicket when the left handed Rangana Herath missing a sweep to be lbw and Muttiah Muralidaran (29 from 11 balls) too missed a sweep but to get bowled. Pragyan Ojha was the bowler to dismiss Murali. India had to come back after lunch to take the remaining two wickets and the match was finished when no.11 Chanaka Welegedara was caught and bowled off a leading edge by Pragyan Ojha. Before than Yuvraj Singh broke the frustrating 9th wicket partnership by trapping Mendis with an arm ball. Samaraweera stayed unbeaten on 78 (from 123 balls with 11 fours). Sri Lanka were bowled out for 269 in less than 66 overs.
Sreesanth was given the Man of the Match for taking six wickets yesterday. Incidentally this is the 100th win for India in Test Matches.

Sreesanth captured six out of the 13 Sri Lankan wickets that fell on the third day’s play at Kanpur to put India on the brink of a big innings victory. Sri Lanka in reply to India’s 642 crashed to 229 all out in their first innings and have already lost four wickets after following on!
The Lankans had a bad first session with Sreesanth picking up three wickets – opener Paranavitana (chasing a wide away going delivery to get caught for 38), Sangakkara (dragging a big cover drive onto the stumps to get bowled for 44) and Samaraweera (dragging his cut onto the stumps). Sri Lanka lost one more wicket in Angelo Mathews before lunch to get reduced to 138 for 5.
In the afternoon session, India had to wait for a long time before getting their next scalp as Mahela Jayawardene and Prasanna Jayawardene got a partnership going. It was again Sreesanth who provided the breakthrough by having Prasanna (39) caught behind playing a loose cut shot. Mahela Jayawardene (47) followed him back to the pavilion after a big shot off debutant spinner Pragyan Ojha failed to clear mid on. Sreesanth soon picked up his fifth wicket when he bowled left handed Rangana Herath with one that swung away from middle to hit the off stump. Sri Lanka went to Tea at 219 for 8.
The visitors got bowled out within no time after Tea and the follow on was enforced by Dhoni. Once again Sreesanth came good for India as he forced Dilshan to nick him behind. In a surprise move, Dhoni brought on Virender Sehwag in the 11th over and the part timer got rid of Paranavitana with an arm ball that had him lbw.
Sri Lanka got into horrible trouble moments later with Mahela Jayawardene getting run out due to a misjudgement of a single by Sangakkara. The Lankan Captain himself exited from the middle after dragging on a cut shot off Harbhajan onto the stumps. Sri Lanka finished the day’s play ar 57 for 4 in their second innings and know very well that nothing can save them from a big defeat tomorrow.

PAKISTAN, LAHORE: Former Pakistan captain and now Director General, Pakistan Cricket Board, Javed Miandad has urged the out of form players to stay away from the game for a certain time period in a bid to regain their forms.

He was of the view that bad patch was a part of the players life and in order to come out from it, the best way was to leave cricket for some time.
Some of our batsmen did not perform to a good level in recently concluded series in Sri Lanka and they must think on this aspect of getting a brief break,” he added.
Asked the performance of Shoaib Malik and Misbah-ul-Haq remained below par in Sri Lanka, Miandad without mentioning name of any cricketer said it was the only solution for a cricketer who wants to get back the form.
When asked about express bowler Shoaib’s Akhtar future in cricket “ the doors were open for all the players to show their perform on ground and to get place”.
I believe that your performance should speak instead of tall claims and only a best performance in the ground is a valid proof to fitness and form “,said Miandad.
About the talent available in the camp, Miandad said all the boys were talented and he gave tip to all bowlers and batsmen. He said it was the best age to learn about the game and hopefully the boys would not waste the opportunity.

Akmal, the 19-year-old younger brother of wicketkeeper Kamran Akmal, was the mainstay of the Pakistani innings playing only his second international.
Mahela Jayawardene and Tharanga provided the home side 210 runs stance to make Pakistan’s competing total easily achievable for Sri Lanka.
Mahela Jayawardene scored 123 runs and WU Tharanga made 76 runs for Sri Lanka, which achieved the target in 47th over and one the match and ODI series Pakistan at home soil for first time.
Earlier, Pakistn scored 288 runs which was the total is the highest one-day score at the Rangiri Dambulla Stadium.
Akmal made 66 at better than a run a ball, including five boundaries and two sixes.
Akmal added 42 runs for the fifth wicket with Fawad Alam, but the partnership that gave the most impetus to the Pakistani innings was his 41-run stand for the sixth wicket with Shahid Afridi that came from just 21 balls.
Afridi played in typical aggressive style hammering 32 runs from 20 balls with five boundaries.
Umar survived two potential dismissals when Sri Lanka captain Kumar Sangakkara missed a run out chance on 15, and later when Sangakkara dropped him on 26.
Pakistan started off poorly after Sangakkara won the toss and elected to field, losing Nasir Jamshed early before captain Younis Khan added 71 runs for the second wicket with Kamran Akmal (45), denying Sri Lanka further success on a flat track that was good for batting.
Younis scored 44 and was run out when he pushed an Angelo Mathews ball for one to mid-on, but was beaten by Thilan Thushara’s direct hit.
The lower order helped Pakistan push its score, with the tourists scoring 47 runs off the third Power Play that came in the 40th over.
