PESHAWAR, Pakistan News: An explosion at Ring Road near the residence of Orangzeb Khan MPA injured the member of the provincial assembly and completely destroyed his car.

Injured MPA and two others have been shifted to the Lady Reading hospital, Peshawar for medical treatment.

The blast occurred near the house of Orangzeb Khan affiliated with ruling Awami National Party.

Orangzeb Khan was elected from the provincial assembly constituency of FP-1, Peshawar after his brother Alamzeb Khan MPA killed in an attack on February 11, last year.

Three persons including Orangzeb MPA were injured in the attack and his car completely wrecked in the blast.

MINGORA, Pakistan News: At least seven persons were injured in suicide attack in the house of a provincial assembly member in Swat.

The attack occurred at the house of Dr. Shamsher MPA in which seven persons including the NWFP assembly member and his brother were injured. Shamsher belong to Awami National Party.

Indefinite curfew has been declared in the region after the attack, sources said.

Sri Lanka Free From 136,000 Tamils:All ethnic-minority Tamil detainees will be freed from government camps on December 1, a senior Sri Lankan official has said.

Some 300,000 war-displaced Tamils were forced into camps after fleeing the final months of the government’s decades-long war with the separatist Tamil Tiger rebels, which ended in May.

The Tamils are held against their will in overcrowded camps with poor sanitation. More than half were released in recent months amid pressure from rights group and foreign governments.

Authorities say nearly 136,000 people remain detained.

Basil Rajapaksa, a senior adviser to his brother, President Mahinda Rajapaksa, said the camp’s residents will be free to return to their original villages after December 1.

Adam Jasinski “Baller”  winner of the winter 2008 edition of “Big Brother,” was arrested over the weekend for allegedly attempting to sell 2,000 oxycodone pills to a government witness. Prosecutors say he’s been using his $500,000 winnings to fund his drug business.

Adam Jasinski, 31, of Delray Beach, Fla., has been charged with attempting to sell 2,000 pills in Massachusetts to a government witness.

Federal prosecutors said Jasinski was arrested Saturday after he flew to Boston and showed the witness a sock containing two plastic bags filled with oxycodone, a powerful painkiller that is a popular street drug because of its euphoric effects.

As agents tried to arrest Jasinski at a strip mall in North Reading, he struggled and threw the sock under a car parked nearby, Todd Prough, a special agent with the Drug Enforcement Administration, said in an affidavit filed in court.

I can barely stand to listen Natalie speak anymore. How delusional can she be? Nice that she totally didn’t address the fact that she’s not 18 when it was brought up in jury questioning, glossing right over that while championing how awesome and forthright her gameplay was. Ick.

I love that Jordan won the final Head of Household competition since Natalie and Kevin had written her off as an easy target.

Best part of the jury interaction was that Jeff was really, truly funny. Was he that funny during the season?

Ronnie’s [Square Root of] All Evil shirt cracks me up. I’m a geek; it’s cool. Also love that he was trying to shock Jordan with the news that Natalie was actually 24 and not 18, but what do you hear? Kevin yelling, “WHAT???”

But the biggest news of all: Jordan is the winner. Who would have predicted that oh, even two weeks ago?

Not surprisingly, Jeff was the winner of the $25K “America’s Favorite Houseguest” prize. “It wasn’t even close,” Julie said.

MELBOURNE: After a brief lull in attacks on Indians in Australia, two students and their uncle were “brutally bashed” by a group of around 70
youth while playing here.

26-year-old Sukhdip Singh, his brother Gurdeep Singh and uncle Mukhtair Singh were attacked by the group when they were playing pool in the eastern suburb of Epping on Saturday.

“At around 11′o clock my brother in law Sukhdip was playing pool along with few family members when they were attacked by around 70 locals who were attending a party,” said the victim’s relative Onkar Singh.

“They were quietly playing and were trying to avoid trouble even after these locals were trying to provoke them by passing comments,” he said.

The group started telling them to go back to their country. “When they reached the car park to leave the place a huge crowd attacked them and started bashing. The attackers were in their teens and around twenties,” he said.

Onkar claimed police have informed him that six of the 70 attackers have been arrested.

The attacks come a month after Australian government assured external affairs minister S M Krishna, during his visit here, that Indian students will be protected. Around 30 Indian students were attacked in various cities from June to August 2009.
