MIRAN SHAH: At least 10 persons were killed and several others injured in US drone attack at a training camp in North Waziristan tribal region.
A US spy aircraft fired missiles at a training camp at Mohammedkhel mountains in North Waziristan in which at least 10 persons were killed and several injured, sources said. Most of the persons killed in the attack said to be foreign nationals.
Pakistan News: Official sources have confirmed the death reports of TTP Chief Hakeemullah Mehsud at Orakzai Agency today.
According to sources, Hakeemullah was killed in a drone attack and buried at Tehsil Mamozai.
MIRANSHAH, Pakistan News: At least 15 people were killed when a US drone hit a suspected militants’ hideout in Shaktoi, South Waziristan on Sunday. According to sources, the US drone fired three missiles at a house in Shaktoi, killing 15 people. Rise in toll is also feared, sources added. Many drone strikes have been carried out in the abovementioned area in the last days.
Drone attack on North Waziristan 5 kills :- According to sources 5 militants were killed in a drone attack on North Waziristan ( Pakistan ) in which 5 missiles were fired.
The attack took place at Zarnai area in the district of Mir Ali. There is fear of rise in the number of causalities.
After the attack spy plane flew over the area and caused fear amongst the locals.
LAHORE, Pakistan News: President Asif Ali Zardari has said that our survival is linked with the survival of democracy, which depends on smooth functioning of state intuitions.
Addressing a gathering here at the Governor House Thursday, he said he would deliver the speech in Punjabi language as he was presented a Punjabi turban by the Governor.
“I learnt Punjabi in the jail,” he asserted.
He further said Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto laid their lives for the sake of democracy. We will continue their mission.
“We have empowered women in accordance with the vision of Benazir Bhutto. Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) is working for the poor class. We will continue the politics of reconciliation.”
President said Pakistan is dealing with a number of challenges and sincere efforts should be made to solve country’s issues.
He said water is the main reason behind Kashmir dispute that is why dams are being built across the country and loans worth $700 million have been taken for their construction.
He said he is aware of the issues of party workers. He said he will spend one week in Lahore to listen to party workers’ issues every month.
Lahore, Pakistan :- Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani on Thursday said that nuclear assets would not be compromised.
Giving details of his meetings with Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan under the Obama administration Richard Holbrooke in the National Assembly, the PM said that he told Holbrooke, “Drone attacks are harmful for us. We are trying to purse America on drone attack issue. It is possible that our stance on drone attack is more rigid than the opposition. We don’t want that Pakistan should rely on aid.”
The Prime Minister said the government has asked America to release Dr. Affia Siddique as soon as possible. He said that Pakistan wants relations with other countries on the basis of equality.

Addressing a gathering on the occasion of World Human Rights Day, PM said that Pakistan today joins the world community in observing the International Human Rights Day. It shows that the world is committed to the protection of dignity and respect of the people.
Highlighting the religious perpective of this day, the PM said that in our society, human rights are guided by Islam, “Islam is a religion of peace and equality that focuses on a society which transcends caste, color, creed, which further reaffirms the Islamic culture.” He also stated that the constitution of Pakistan and the UN Human Rights Declaration are synonymous in their goal of elimination of poverty and injustice and create a balance between the rights of all individuals globally. Mr. Gilani promoted equality and tolerance among human beings, and stressed on the need to refresh the promise of taking human rights to a greater level of human obligation. He told that the PPP government is aimed to providing a crucial framework to safeguard life and property of everyone. He said that the government ensures political, economic and cultural rights.

Six militants including four foreigners have been killed in US drone attack in South Waziristan. According to sources, drone fired two missiles at militants’ hideouts in Tanga area of tehsil Lada in South Waziristan. Six militants including four foreigners have been killed in the attack. Sources said the number of casualties may increase.
In the previous drone attack on 8-12-09, 3 foreign militants were killed when the house of Malik Shah Jehan was targeted with a guided missile in Sipliga Village- some 15 kilometers South in Miran Shah.

MIRANSHAH, Pakistan:A US drone attack killed eight people and injured two others in Machi Khel area of North Waziristan on Friday.
It couldn’t be confirmed that the dead were militants or civilians. Death toll is feared to increase. Two missiles were fired in the attack however target has not been disclosed yet. Three drones are still hovering over the area while local militants have sealed the ways.
Earlier, a US drone had killed four in Norak area.
KHAR, Pakistan: US Drone Strike in Bajaur, 14 killed, Fourteen people were killed in U.S. drone attack Damadolla in the area of the Bajaur tribal region on Saturday, sources said.
According to sources in political administration of the guided missile Damadolla in the area near the home of Taliban leader Moulvi Faqeer that killed 14 people. The death toll may increase.
Some foreigners were also among the dead, the sources said.
