Kim Yuna Olympics 2010

Latest news updates about Kim Yuna Olympics 2010 :- Kim Yu-na spilled tears Thursday night after a spellbinding, four-plus minutes on the ice.
Kim Yuna Olympics 2010
Just moments later, longtime rival Mao Asada of Japan wore a stoic look, wondering if she had done enough to hold on to a silver medal.

By then the Olympic title belonged to South Korea’s most famous celebrity, the one they call “The Queen.” Kim, 19, all but knew it as soon as she ended her flawless program to a George Gershwin concerto. The audience at Pacific Coliseum joined her in the celebration, even though three skaters had yet to perform.

For the first time in her illustrious career, she shed tears.

“I can’t believe this is not a dream anymore,” Kim said later.

In what had been billed as a showdown between the world’s most-gifted skaters, Kim handed her competitors an old-fashioned butt -kicking, scoring a world-record total of 228.56 points. Asada made mistakes in her dark program skated to “Bells of Moscow” by Rachmaninov.

“To complete both triple-axels well at the Olympics was one good thing about my performance,” Asada said. “But I am not happy with the rest of my performance. I do feel regretful.”

Those difficult triple axels proved enough to hold off everyone’s emotional favorite, Joannie Rochette, for the silver medal by almost three points. Rochette skated only four days after her mother Therese died of a heart attack in Vancouver.

American Idol Top 24

American Idol Top 24, Michael “Big Mike” Lynch:  Big Mike’s dad 2c1a9f54d6top 24 American Idol Top 24allegedly revealed his son’s Top 24 status weeks ago, thus breaking “Idol’s” rules of confidentiality, but the Florida native and personal trainer has a smooth voice and sweet disposition that’s simply undeniable. He is shown  last week was shown listening in by cell phone as his wife gave birth to their daughter

Didi Benami: If she could keep the tears in check for more than five seconds, we might dig Didi the person as much as we like Didi the voice.

Katelyn Epperly: We didn’t get to see or hear too much of Katelyn, who auditioned in Chicago, but she proved her vocal prowes singing Colbie Callait’s “Bubbly.”

Casey James: Denver’s hottest auditioner is a no-brainer; the show’s been teasing viewers with his sexiness for weeks. And we know Kara’s a fan. His popularity was not affected by the fact that he spent some time behind bars.

Aaron Kelly: This 16-year-old countrified contender sang Miley Cyrus’ “The Climb” during auditions. Prior to that, he won Disney World’s American Idol Experience.

Lee Dewyze: The season’s resident rocker may be this little-known Chicago auditioner, who showed Chris Daughtry-like promise with his version of the Fray’s “You Found Me.”

Todrick Hall: He showed exceptional freestyling skill during his Dallas audition, where he wowed the judges with an original song. But since that first appearance Todrick’s progress onstage and off has been fraught with drama. Group auditions didn’t exactly paint him in a positive light.

AM Bachchan To Sing The Original Madhushala

AM Bachchan To Sing The Original MadhushalaMUMBAI India: Harivansh Rai Bachchan’s famous poem “Madhushala’ has been made into a song, sung by Mana Dey and composed by Jaidev, a long time ago. However, it turns out that the poet had composed a tune for the poem, which may soon be brought out as a song by his son, Amitabh Bachchan.

Amitabh has decided that he will soon sing his father’s rendition of “Madhushala’ so that the people can be exposed to the original that his father had composed. Although he likes the Manna Dey-Jaidev version, he would like to sing it with an orchestra as he has lesser film assignments for this year.

Tim Tebow Super Bowl Ad

Tim Tebow Super Bowl Ad latest news updates :- He was the first sophomore in history to win a Heisman trophy. He was the first college football player both to rush and pass for 20 touchdowns in a season. Last year, he led his college team, the Florida Gators, to their second national championship in three years. At 6 feet 3 inches and 245 pounds, Tim Tebow may go down in history as the greatest college football player who ever lived.

That is the message of a controversial new ad starring Tebow  and his mother, Pam. Paid for by the conservative Christian group Focus on the Family, the ad tells the story of Bob and Pam Tebow, who was pregnant with their fifth child when the couple travelled to the Philippines on a missionary trip.

While there, Pam contracted amoebic dysentery and the medicines used for her recovery threatened her unborn fetus. Doctors advised her to abort the fetus. Pam ignored their advice and gave birth on Aug. 14, 1987, to a baby boy. That boy was Tim Tebow.

Shark Attack Stuart FL

ddb82c2092rt fl1 Shark Attack Stuart FLLatest Breaking news about Shark Attack Stuart FL :- Stuart, Florida — 38 year old man was attacked while kite surfing about a quarter of a mile off the coast.  He was attacked by what were most likely juvenile great white sharks according to research scientist Grant Gilmore.  Officials in the area said that while swimmers and surfers receive minor bites in Florida waters, fatal shark attacks are extremely rare.

Although these deaths are uncommon, great whites have certainly developed an infamous reputation of  being “the perfect killing machine.” Watch National Geographic’s unbelievable footage from their expedition to dispel this myth, featuring Jaws creator Peter Benchley and famed underwater photographer David Doubilet.

Barack Obama Rejects NASA’s Moon Mission

Barack Obama Rejects NASA’s Moon Mission, US President Barack Obama’s proposed budget gives NASA a 6 billion U.S. dollar 5-year boost but aborts early attempts to return to the moon and turns over space transportation to commercial companies.2e8507ab2eission Barack Obama Rejects NASA’s Moon Mission
The space agency’s budget would grow to 19 billion US dollars in 2011 under the proposed budget, with an emphasis on science and less spent on space exploration. But the plan ends the Constellation program, initially intended to return US astronauts to the moon by 2020. The new budget, which is subject to change by Congress, also extends operations at the International Space Station past its planned retirement date of 2016, suggesting such potential additions as inflatable space habitats. Obama’s proposal hands over more space operations to the commercial sector, saying it will create thousands of new jobs and hold costs down. The budget also proposes a re-vamp of the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, where staff have feared major cutbacks, as part of making NASA more efficient.
