Madonna has culled tracks marked favourite by her fans to include them in her upcoming greatest hits CD.

The Queen of Pop’’s manager Guy Oseary previously asked fans on Twitter which songs would they like to see as part of the album titled ”Celebration”.

The singer then chose from the list, adding ”Celebration” and ”Revolver” to the collection, reports the New York Daily News.

The album, out on September 29, will be available as either a double CD, or in a triple disc set, with an added DVD video hits component.

Warner Bros. Records has compiled every disc of the megastar’’s storied career.

Sweet Caroline “is a song written and performed by Neil Diamond and officially launched on 16 September 1969, as one. There are three different mixes of this song. The original mono mix of 45 had an orchestra and glockenspiel high compared to the stereo version on the journey of love Salvation Show Brother LP. The third is a remix version is only in the initial release of CD “by Neil Diamond His 12 Greatest Hits”. This version has the orchestra mixed down very remarkable and has mixed choirs. It has a long go too. The song peaked at # 4 on the Billboard charts and eventually went platinum for sales of one million singles .

In the fall of 1969, Diamond performed “Sweet Caroline” on several television programs. He later reached number 8 on the UK singles in 1971. In an interview in 2007, Diamond revealed the inspiration for “Sweet Caroline” was President John F. Kennedy ’s daughter, Caroline Kennedy, who was eleven at the time. Diamond sang the song to her on her 50th birthday celebration in 2007.

MR Magic Died, Mr. Magic, a New York disc jockey who helped almost singlehandedly bring hip-hop into the mainstream, has died of a heart attack.

Magic, whose real name was John Rivas, co-founded WBLS-FM’s Rap Attack radio show in 1983 and helped inspire budding stars like Notorious B.I.G. and Nas with early East Coast rhymes. Rap Attack went off the air in 1989, but Magic remained influential.

He was featured as a DJ for one of the in-game radio stations of the 2002 video game Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, exposing him to a new audience. Magic’s WBLS radio show can also be heard during a scene in “Notorious,” the story of B.I.G.’s life.

When not lending his voice to those projects, Magic worked as a hip-hop producer and released a series of greatest hits from Rap Attack.
