Whoopi Goldberg o you understand why people think a mom of 14 is maybe… not quite all there?
Nadya:
“I’ve asked myself that for years too.Everyone goes through life, some people in varying degrees… wearing certain clouded glasses.I was in denial for so many years thinking, ‘Oh, I’m so smart, you know, I have a year more for my masters, right? I can do it all. I’m strong. I study all night long. I get straight A’s and I’m taking care of my kids, six of them, no help. Not one nanny,.So I’m delusionally thinking, ‘Oh, I’m gonna keep going. Oh [I’ll] have one more. What’s one more from six?’ OK, so this happens… It took this monolithic experience of having eight simultaneously to completely, completely alter, wake me up, and alter my mindset permanently.”

MUMBAI: Thanks to his irrepressible sense of humour, Shah Rukh Khan comes across as an easy going person. But in real life the Bollywood star is little different and one of the things he is extremely finicky about is his socks.
“I have a strange attachment to socks. They should feel right. I could be missing a flight, but if my socks are wrong, I have to take them off… I won’t wear nylon socks with sneakers. The only time I get disturbed during shooting is over my socks. I hate brown socks and different-coloured socks,” said Shah Rukh said in an interview to a magazine.
In the interview, the 44-year-old also talked about his loneliness. “I can come across as a user, manipulator, disinterested, weird, reclusive, strange, arrogant from the outside. But the people involved know the truth…there are days I feel lonely on the inside. I guess that’s the way I am. I’ve never gotten into relationships because I’m scared to. I have a shield. I’ve lost my parents, so now I don’t like to lose relationships. I have to admit that at 44 I am socially and emotionally inept,” said Shah Rukh.
Israel Collected Organs in 90’s Without Permission, Israel has admitted forensic specialists harvested organs from bodies, including Palestinians, without permission from their families during the 1990s.
The issue emerged with publication of an interview with the then-head of Israel’s main forensic institute, Dr. Jehuda Hiss. An American academic conducted the interview in 2000, but decided to release it now because of a controversy last summer over an allegation by a Swedish newspaper that Israel was killing Palestinians to harvest their organs. Israel fiercely denied the charge. In the interview, Hiss says corneas were taken from dead bodies without family consent. Hiss was dismissed from the institute in 2004, and Israel’s Channel 2 TV quoted the health ministry saying that the practice stopped a decade ago.

SAN FRANCISCO USA : Google encouraged software developers to ride into the future of email with a project called “Wave,” which opens inboxes to text, video, pictures, maps and even social network feeds.
“Wave” expands the capabilities of email to let people communicate and work together in real-time with text, photos, videos, maps, and more, according to Google software engineering manager Lars Rasmussen.
“In Google Wave you create a wave and add people to it,” Rasmussen wrote in a blog post at the California Internet giant’s website.
“Everyone on your wave can use richly formatted text, photos, gadgets, and even feeds from other sources on the web. You see on your screen nearly instantly what your fellow collaborators are typing in your wave.”
A “wave” prototype built by a five-person team “holed up in a conference room in the Sydney office” for months was previewed at a Google developers conference in San Francisco on Thursday.
“After more than two years of expanding our ideas, our team, and our technology, we’re very eager to return and see what the world might think,” Rasmussen wrote.
A Wave software kit was provided to developers at the conference.
Wave allows for collaboration and communication by letting people send out pictures, messages, or videos that can be built on or modified as they stream from recipient to recipient.
Waves can be rewound to see how exchanges evolved, according to Google.
“Developers are going to see the potential of Google Wave as a platform; we hope they’ll leap on it,” Wave engineer Adam Schuck said in an interview posted at the US firm’s website.
“They’ll be able to integrate it with existing systems they use today, or produce new tools that allow people to improve and manage their communications.”
The computer code for Wave will be open source, meaning developers are free to modify it as they wish.
“We’re inviting developers to add all kinds of cool stuff before our public launch,” Rasmussen wrote.
No launch date for Wave has been specified. Rasmussen and his brother, Jens, founded an online mapping firm bought by Google in 2004. The brothers’ technology went into Google’s free Internet map service.
Silicon Valley analyst Rob Enderle said that while the Wave goal is feasible, building a central station for various online photo, video, text and social networking feeds presents complex challenges.
Google Wave has solved “a bunch of stuff that has traditionally been very hard” such as real-time collaboration and hosted data, according to team engineer Casey Whitelaw.
“Developers won’t have to think about all of that, they’ll be able to just build their app and go,” Whitelaw said in the interview.
“The primary ideas are that everything is live, and everything is editable.”
The Wave team in Sydney held weekly “team huddles” that evolved to include theme songs, prizes, and one member’s quest to “help us develop our chocolate palate beyond M&M” candies, according to Whitelaw.
“Rather than try to anticipate every possible use it will be put to, we’ve made it open and extensible so developers can come up with what they think is cool and useful,” Whitelaw said of Wave.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Thursday Tehran has no need of nuclear arms, but in an interview with a US television did not explicitly rule them out.
“Nuclear arms we believe they belong to the past and the past generation….We do not see any need for such weapons,” Ahmadinejad said.
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that he regretted the deaths of protestors during demonstrations, which erupted after Iran’s disputed June elections.
“All of us regret the fact that some people were killed,” Ahmadinejad told media television, in excerpts of the interview which is to be aired in full on Sunday.
Ahmadinejad’s June 12 re-election unleashed massive street protests that shook the Islamic regime and divided the ruling elites and powerful clerical groups.
The unrest officially left about 30 people dead — opposition groups claim 72 died — and isolated Iran even further from world powers who are threatening fresh sanctions over the country’s suspect nuclear program.
The Iranian president added he had also been saddened by the death of a young woman, Neda Agha-Soltan, whose killing during a protest rally in Tehran generated an international outcry.
“I was saddened, as well all the Iranian people were saddened,” he told media Thursday.
But he added, “We think that this incident is a suspicious death. We are treating it as a suspicious death. We are very sorry about this and I am sure that the truth will come to light.”
Neda, as she is more commonly known, became an icon for the opposition, which is protesting Ahmadinejad’s re-election, after an Internet video showing her final moments was seen around the world.
Ahmadinejad has already called for a probe into her death, saying there had been fabricated reports about the incident and “widespread propaganda” by the foreign media.
The street protests were the worst violence to rock Iran in the 30-year history of the Islamic republic.
Around 4,000 protesters who opposed Ahmadinejad were initially arrested. While most of them have since been released, 140 have been put on trial including leading reformist politicians, activists and employees of the British and French embassies.
