James said she fell in love with the golf pro, and claims that he impregnated her twice.

3D has become so popular that fans can now even say that they’ve seen the Titanic sink in 3D. Hollywood.com reports that director James Cameron has confirmed earlier rumors that the record breaking 1997 Oscar winning film is all set to sail into theatres for a second time in 3D format.

Although Cameron can confirm the news, fans shouldn’t expect the film to be re-released until 2012. Cameron has chosen this year in order to honor the 100 year anniversary of the ship’s sinking in 1912.

Furthermore, the director also confirms plans to re-release his latest film Avatar by the end of the year. The film was recently shut out of IMAX theatres in order to make room for the release of Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland. Some believe that nearly a hundred million more dollars could have been made if the film remained in theatres. In order to re-attract audiences, the new version will likely include never before seen footage.

Avatar recently became the biggest-selling film in history when it surpassed the previous record held by Titanic.

A television channel has sparked a brief panic in Georgia when it aired a fake newscast reporting that a Russian invasion was underway.
The newscast on privately-owned Imedi television showed footage from the August 2008 Georgia-Russia war, reported that Russian tanks were headed for the capital Tbilisi and that Russian aircraft had bombed airports and ports. After the news bulletin, the channel announced that it had been false and aimed at exploring possible future events.
Local media reported that the false newscast provoked widespread alarm and a record number of calls to emergency services. The Interpress news agency quoted emergency services as saying the report caused multiple incidents of heart attacks and fainting. It said hundreds of residents of Gori, the Georgian city worst hit by the 2008 war, fled their homes and rushed to local shops for emergency supplies. Mobile phone networks were also briefly overloaded and ceased functioning as word of the report spread. A spokeswoman for President Mikheil Saakashvili, Manana Manjgaladze, said in remarks shown on Imedi that the newscast should have been clearly marked as a simulation and that it did not meet journalistic standards.

The Canadian lost her mother earlier this week. Tonight, the Pacific Coliseum crowd, the figure-skating community, most of the world, probably, will be hoping she doesn’t lose a medal, too.

But what about the judges? Will they be strong enough to ignore the emotional tug of Rochette’s heartbreaking story?

There’s no way to know, of course. Until someone develops a machine to grade skating, there will always be an imperfect human component.

But a women’s competition that, for Americans anyway, had lacked a compelling drama has one now.

The 24-year-old Canadian, biting her lip, holding herself together until her elegant and deft short program was complete, earned the highest marks of her life – 71.36 – at the start of what is typically the Winter Olympics’ marquee event.

The 11,000 fans were on their feet when the routine ended. As Rochette bowed, her eyes welled with tears. Finally, she skated to coach Manon Perron, laid her head on the older woman’s shoulder and wept.
