The musical romance stars one of my favorite actresses, two-time Academy Award-nominee Amy Adams. She is wonderful in this movie. It’s a treat to hear her angelica voice as she sings familiar standards.  I only wish she was in a better story. The hurdles at the beginning of the movie are unclear and make it hard to understand the tribulation the main characters endure.

Alec Newman co-stars as a successful financial manager by day and a complicated musician by night, hears an angelic and beautiful voice outside his window one night, accompanying him as he plays the piano.

The mysterious voice turns out to be Chloe (Adams), the coat check girl from the local jazz club.  Nate pursues Chloe, but it is Chloe who persuades Nate to form a musical act with her. As the pair’s melodic collaboration heats up, their professional relationship soon becomes personal and develops into something more than just a shared interest in music.

Apparently, Adams work on this film in 2006 after she finished Junebug.  Moonlight Serenade sat in post-production and just recently was released to DVD.

Freedom Writers is a 2007  drama  film starring Hilary Swank, Scott Glenn, Imelda Staunton and Patrick Dempsey. It is based on the book The Freedom Writers Diary by teacher Erin Gruwell who wrote the story based on Woodrow Wilson Classical High School in Long Beach, California. The title is a play on the term “Freedom Riders”, referring to black and white civil rights activists who tested the U.S. Supreme Court decision ordering the desegregation  of interstate buses in 1961.

The idea for the film came from journalist Tracey Durning, who made a documentary about Erin Gruwell for the News program Primetime Live. Durning served as co-executive producer of the film.

Nancy Benoit Hustler Pics, It has now been over two-years since Nancy Benoit was brutally murdered by her professional wrestler husband Chris Benoit, however her family will probably be glad to hear that Hustler could soon be getting in trouble for publishing nude pictures of her after her death.

The photos were published by Hustler’s publisher Larry Flynt, up until now he has got away with publishing nude pics of Nancy, however an appellate court has stated that “The photographs published by [Flynt] neither relate to the incident of public concern conceptually [the murders] nor correspond with the time period during which Benoit was rendered”.

Apparently the pictures that Hustler published were from Nancy when she was 20 years old, at the time of her murder Nancy was 43 years old.

Nancy’s family are adamant that she wanted the photos destroyed, however Hustler believe that they had the rights to publish the photos.

MUMBAI: Actress Katrina Kaif seems to be following beau Salman Khan’s footsteps. Every fortnight, Salman is known to make an appearance for his fans on the balcony of his Galaxy Apartment in Mumbai’s Bandra neighbourhood. At times, he even meets them personally. Katrina did the same at her house in Andheri recently.

“Katrina was down with a fever and food poisoning, but she kept her professional commitments,” says a source. While she was leaving to perform at an awards functions, she saw fans who had gathered near her building for a glimpse of her. “So she came out of her car and spent 15 minutes with them,” adds the source.

Also like Salman, who often travels in an auto-rickshaw to work, recently Katrina made her first auto-ride. LOS ANGELES: American musician John Mayer has confessed he’ll always love ex-girlfriend Jennifer Aniston and regrets the fact he couldn’t be a more mature lover for her.

Talking to a news daily, a close source said, “At a social get-together recently, Shah Rukh and Gauri were seen in the company of Abhi-Ash. Both the couples were bonding and had a long chat about movies and forthcoming projects. It was at this moment that Shah Rukh spoke about ‘RA 1.’”

“Shah Rukh mentioned a scene to Aishwarya where she has to play herself in the film. It is a cameo. Microsoft this week is preparing to update Windows Genuine Advantage (WGA) Notifications for Windows XP. The new version includes the usual updates to validation that improve WGA’s ability to detect invalid product keys and other attempts to circumvent product activation.

Since Windows XP Professional is the most often counterfeited version of XP, Microsoft has focused on including the latest validation information, such as recently stolen or misused product keys, for the Professional edition. Customers who installed the last update will simply have their validation information updated without needing to go through the install process again.

So how come a single person can shoot a video of celebrity type ESPN reporter without the involvement of a group that has access to the places or hotels where Erin Andrews stayed.

Nobody knew that it was Erin Andrews in the video till ESPN send a notice to a website that had hosted the naked video of ESPN reporter.

She told Oprah, “I mean, having to call my parents and they – they thought I was physically injured how bad I was screaming”,
