ISLAMABAD, Pakistan News: Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani Tuesday surprised the Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry and other guests by appearing at the farewell reception hosted by the latter in honour of Justice (Retd.) Khalil-ur-Rehman Ramday.
Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry welcomed the Prime Minister when the latter made his surprise entry into the reception space. The CJP thanked the Premier for attending the dinner reception.
The Prime Minister spent some time with the CJP in a pleasant atmosphere where Chaudhry Aitzaz Ahsan was also present.
A large number of judges attended the reception.

GIBRALTAR: Miss World Kaiane Returns Home With Huge Reception, The new Miss World, Kaiane Aldorino, was given a rapturous welcome on return to the Rock today. Several thousands people waving the red and white Gibraltar flag jam-packed the John Mackintosh square.
“I am thrilled,” she told the crowd from a balcony in the City Hall.
“I knew it would be a big welcome, but not that big,” she said.
Earlier, when driven through the main street to cheering crowds, she felt “on top of the world.”
A spokesman for the Miss World organisation, in Gibraltar for Kaiane’s homecoming, said: “We’ve never had a welcome like Gibraltar’s. It’s the most special home-coming ever.”
The reigning Miss World flew to Gibraltar on a private jet chartered by the Gibraltar Government. Their non-essential employees were allowed to leave early to take part in the celebrations. A fireworks display was organised for the late evening.

Gaza hospital sources announced the reception of two bodies late on Monday, along with four other victims who had received medium to critical injuries, after an Israeli tank shelled the eastern Gaza city neighborhood of Shejaeya.
The shelling caused serious damage in the densely populated area, reports say, but there are no more details on the incident. The latest attack comes two days after the Israeli military launched a series of air raids on Gaza, wounding seven people, including children.
