MUMBAI: Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty has chosen the House of Commons as the venue for her UK wedding celebration this week, said sources.

The Celebrity Big Brother star tied the knot with jewellery tycoon Raj Kundra in Mumbai in November.

A source reveals: “The celebrations have been organised partly by MP Keith Vaz and they are thrilled to be holding their special day at such an iconic British location.

“Shilpa’s having a ceremony in India too but the British celebrations are going to be big and they’ve spent a lot of money organising a grand affair.”

Shilpa and Raj got together in early 2007 and share a seven-bedroom house in Weybridge, Surrey.

MUMBAI: Bollywood beauty Shilpa Shetty is ready for her sangeet, a day before her grand wedding with London businessman Raj Kundra on Sunday.

Shilpa’s sangeet ceremony, which will be attended by family members and her close friends from the film fraternity, is being held in Khandala.

Reports are that Shilpa will be dancing to the tunes of her own hit numbers with Raj and choreographer Ganesh Hegde will see to it that everybody’s dance moves are perfect.

The couple’s family members and close friends will also be performing. Raj’s family has already flown from London for the ceremony.

The sangeet is likely to b a mix of both south and Punjabi style dance and music. Apart from Shilpa’s own songs, there will be some high-tempo numbers too.
