Cisco Announcement, Earlier on today we posted an article which looked into what Cisco’s big Internet changing announcement could be, we have now heard that they have announced a new carrier routing system which is called CRS-3.
CRS-3 will act as the foundation for the next-generation of the Internet usage, it will apparently offer more than 12 times the traffic capacity which its closest competitor’s complete system offers.
CRS-3 will feature a capacity of up to 322 Terabits per second, this bandwidth would allow every man, woman and child in China to make simultaneous video calls, also this has the bandwidth to stream every motion picture ever made in just four minutes.
The Story of Stuff is a polemical animated documentary about the life-cycle of material goods.
Activist Annie Leonard wrote and narrated the film. Tides Foundation, The Funders Workgroup for Sustainable Production and Consumption, Free Range Studios and other foundations funded the film.[2] Free Range Studios produced it. It was first launched online on December 4, 2007.
The documentary is being used in elementary schools, arts programs, and post-graduate economics classes[dubious – discuss] as well as places of worship and corporate sustainability trainings. By February 2009, it had been seen in 228 countries and territories. According to the hosting site as of September 2009[update], it already had more than 7 million views.
Critics consider the documentary to contain incorrect and misleading information and/or to be politically partisan and liberal; this has led the school board of a Montana school district to ban use of the video in the classroom, citing its regulations on bias as justification.

Pictures of Lady Gaga from her 2004 high school yearbook surfaced on the internet today and – surprise, surprise- she looks exceedingly normal in them. She’s also quite pretty - something that tends to be overshadowed by her outrageous persona these days.
Apparently Lady Gaga has always been very outgoing and flamboyant but admits to feeling the need to tone it down a bit while she was attending Convent of the Sacred Heart High School in New York City. People making fun of her outlandish ways made her feel self-conscious.
The 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver ended with the end of February. The closing ceremony was beautiful and it even featured William Shatner, Catherine O’Hara and Michael J. Fox following Rogge who had some humorous monologues
Because they are over, we now have the final medal count for the 2010 Winter Olympics. Team USA led in overall medals. However, hosts Canada had the most gold medals with 14.
Team USA’s final medal count was 37. The Team USA total includes 9 gold medals, 15 silver medals and 13 bronze. Team USA’s 37 medals was 7 more than the second place medal leader, Germany. Germany left the 2010 Winter Olympics with 30 Olympic medals. Hosts Canada were the third overall medal count with 26 medals, but they did win the most gold medals.
Overall the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics were exciting. The only major gripe I have is that the time went too quickly. It’s hard to believe we have to wait another 4 years. Of course, it will be nice to get back to some regular programming.
